CODING COMPLIANCE/ CHART ANALYSIS
GROUPONE Healthsource has designed a chart analysis program with the physician in mind. Our Professional staff will customize a program to fit the needs of your practice. The coding compliance/chart analysis measures compliance with CMS and other government regulations regarding code usage and supportive documentation. During the typical analysis we will:

Compare charged E/M, surgical, and ancillary codes against medical chart documentation;

Verify that IDC-9 codes correspond with CPT codes;

Advise you of potential penalty areas based on our findings;

Recommend and assist in developing any needed changes;

Assist in the development of a Medicare Compliance Program;

Train Staff for Medicare chart compliance.
